Once we've walked the site and put the price in writing, that's the number on the invoice. The only things that change a written price are changes you ask for — added acreage, added services — agreed in writing before we do them.
The first 25 miles from Huntsville are included. Beyond that it's $4 per mile round-trip, calculated up front and included in your written price — never added after the fact.
Yes. Projects of 8 acres or more get a volume discount, and the per-acre rate generally improves as acreage grows because mobilization costs spread across more ground.

No. We walk the site with you before work starts to flag what stays, and we do the final walkthrough together when it's done. In between, the crew handles it.
Every job ends with you and the crew walking the finished site together. If something's not right, we make it right before the machine leaves the property. You're the sign-off, not us.

A tracked machine with a grinding drum shreds standing brush, saplings, and small trees into mulch right where they grow. No pushing, no piling, no burning, no hauling. The mulch stays as ground cover that suppresses regrowth and prevents erosion.
Mulching destroys the above-ground structure and grinds crowns at ground level — a far harder setback than cutting. For the worst invasives like kudzu and privet, we recommend pairing it with a follow-up root-zone treatment, and we'll lay out those options during the walkthrough.
Forestry mulchers ride on wide tracks and grind vegetation in place instead of pushing it, so the root mat and topsoil stay intact. That's the core difference from bulldozer clearing — no ruts, no bare-dirt moonscape, no erosion scars.

For most residential mulching and brush clearing on your own property, no permit is required. Construction-related clearing, grading, and work near streams or wetlands can trigger city or county requirements — check with the City of Huntsville or Madison County before dirt work, and we'll flag anything we see during the walkthrough.
With mulching there isn't any — vegetation becomes the mulch layer that stays on the ground. For jobs that do generate debris, like storm cleanup or stump removal, haul-off is scoped and priced in your written quote.
